  • Q: What is perinatal mental health, and why is it important?

A: Perinatal mental health refers to a mother's emotional and psychological well-being during pregnancy and the postpartum period. It’s important because hormonal changes, sleep deprivation, and life adjustments can contribute to anxiety, depression, or stress, impacting both mother and baby.

  • Q: How do I know if I need to see a psychiatrist or therapist?

A: If you are experiencing persistent sadness, anxiety, mood swings, intrusive thoughts, difficulty bonding with your baby, or thoughts of self-harm, it’s best to seek help. A psychiatrist can provide diagnosis and medication management, while a therapist offers talk therapy and coping strategies.

  • Q: Are your services available online or in person?

A: We offer both telehealth (virtual) sessions and in-person visits at select locations, ensuring accessibility and convenience.

  • Q: Can I get help even if I’m not diagnosed with postpartum depression?

A: Absolutely! You don’t need a formal diagnosis to seek support. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or just need guidance, our services can help improve your well-being.
